Marker starts at the start of the timeline every time I press play.

When I move the marker so I can see something in the middle of the video and press play, the the video is shown from the start. How do I fix this?

Markers are used as selection points for cropping or as visual cues to locate and remember a certain event in the Video or Audio tracks.

To start playing at a specific place, move the selection slider on the timeline or the position slider in the preview, then press play.
