Convert Every Character to Lowercase

A set of voice commands are available to convert all the characters in a word, line, and paragraph in the document to lowercase text.

Note - Please press and hold control key before you use any Lowercase command.  Otherwise application will recognize it as a text and not as a command.

To Convert recently dictated word or phrase to lowercase

  • No Caps that

This command converts all the characters to lowercase of the last word or phrase that has been dictated.

To Convert Specific Words to Lowercase

  • No Caps<text>

The first character of every word of <text> is converted to lowercase.

If the spoken <text> occur multiple times in your document, you can easily resolve the Multiple Matches.

To Convert Range of Words to Lowercase

  • No Caps<text1>through<text2>

The command converts the range of words which are capitalized, to lowercase.  <text1> and <text2> represent the actual words at the beginning and end of the selected range.  The first characters of all words in the range are converted to lowercase.

If <text1> and <text2> occurs multiple times in your document, you can easily resolve the Multiple Matches.

To Convert One or More Characters to Lowercase

  • No Caps next character

The command converts a character to lowercase after the current location of the cursor.

  • No Caps next <2-20> characters

You can convert 2-20 characters to lowercase after the current location of the cursor.

For example, say "No Caps next 5 characters".

  • No Caps previous character

The command converts a character to lowercase before the current location of the cursor.

  • No Caps previous <2-20> characters

You can convert 2-20 characters to lowercase before the current location of the cursor.

For example, say "No Caps previous 5 characters".

To Convert One or More Words / Lines / Paragraphs to Lowercase

  • No Caps next word / line / paragraph

The command converts all characters of the word / line / paragraph to lowercase in which the cursor is present.

  • No Caps next <2-20> words / lines / paragraphs

You can convert all the characters of 2-20 words / lines / paragraphs to lowercase after the current location of the cursor.

For example, say "No Caps next 5 words", "No Caps next 2 paragraphs".

  • No Caps previous word / line / paragraph

The command converts all the characters of a word / line / paragraph to lowercase in which the cursor is present.

  • No Caps previous <2-20> words / lines / paragraphs

You can convert all the characters of 2-20 words / lines / paragraphs to lowercase before the current location of the cursor.

For example, say "No Caps previous 5 words", "No Caps previous 2 lines".

Note - An alternate word for "next" is "forward" and other words for "previous" are "back" and "last".
