I have a small business and would like to install a system with two cameras. Using your software and selecting motion-activated recording, how much disk space will I need?

My business operates 4 days a week, 8 hours a day - figure pretty much constant motion during these times, but there should be NO motion outside of these hours. Thanks.

It is easy to calculate the amount of space needed for recordings.

Security Monitor Pro records at a default of 250Kbs. Converted to bytes this is 31kbytes per second or 1.86Mbytes per minute or 111Mbytes per hour. To record for 8 hours a day you will use about 1Gbyte per camera. Or about 8Gbytes per week for the 2 cameras on your 4 day schedule. A terabyte hard drive will hold about 2 years of recordings for you.
