Hi,

I am really interested in purchasing Security Monitor Pro for use in my laboratory. However, we have a mix of PCs running Windows and Mac books. I would like to use our Windows PCs to do most of the recoridng and broadcasting of USB cameras (I have downloaded the Free version and this works great)- however would like to monitor the live feed via my Mac book. I tried to just use the IP address from the cameras while broadcasting, however I believe I also need to download the software onto my mac for this to work - and I saw that the software is not compatible with macs. Is there a way around this?

Many thanks!

You can have Security Monitor Pro on your PC and view the live broadcast on your Mac book.

There are 3 options - Install the Windows Media Player for Mac, use VLC player for Mac, or use Flip4Mac with Quicktime. From within any of those media players you can connect to a network stream and use the URL given in the Security Monitor Pro log window when you turn on broadcasting.
