Deselect And Clear Artwork
You can create a selection when you want to isolate part of an artwork. You can also clear a selection, which removes the selection marquee around the object. After clearing the selection, you can resume your editing of the entire artwork.
To Deselect an Object
You can deselect a selected object in any one of the following ways:
- Click
 , and select Deselect.
- Press ESC.
- Click anywhere outside the selection marquee.
Clear the Artwork area
Want to clear your workspace area quickly, without using eraser tool or opening a new document? Freehand Painter allows you to clear whole workspace area in a single click. To clear your complete artwork file, click More Options menu and select Clear Artwork.
