Disabling Motion or Noise Detection

If you want Alerts to be triggered only be motion, ignoring noise, disable noise detection.  Similarly, if you want your Alerts to be triggered only by noise while ignoring motion, disable motion detection.

Disabling Motion or Noise Detection

1. If monitoring is in progress then on the Monitor menu, click Stop Monitoring With Alerts first.
2. Select the camera in the Device Preview. 
3. Click Tools >> Camera Monitoring Options.  
4. Switch to the Monitoring tab.
5. Uncheck either Detect Motion with Sensitivity or Detect Noise with Sensitivity.
6. Click OK.

For locally attached cameras, you can also disable either video or audio devices. If you disable the video device, you will record only sound. If you disable the audio device, you will record only video.

Disabling Video or Audio Device (locally attached devices only)

1. Select the device you want to disable by clicking on its Device Preview window.
2. Click Tools >> Camera Monitoring Options.  
3. On the dialog that opens, click the Video/Audio Devices tab.
4. To disable the video device:  from the Video Devices option, choose the Select Video Device option.
5. To disable the audio device: from the Audio Devices dropdown, choose the Select Audio Device option.
6. Click OK to close the dialog and apply the changes.
