My Screen Recorder Pro 5.01

Recording a Video of a Desktop Section

You can choose a region of the computer screen to be captured using this option.  To record video of a section of the desktop:

  1. On the File menu, click Region and then Rectangle, or use the shortcut Ctrl + T.
  2. On the File menu, click Record to start recording.  My Screen Recorder Pro minimizes itself before the recording is started.  You can also use the keyboard shortcut key to start recording.  By default, this key is F8.
  3. The mouse pointer changes to a cross hair.  Drag a rectangle around the region of the desktop that you want to record.  Recording starts immediately after dragging the rectangle.
  4. Proceed to work with your computer while all desktop activities are recorded in the background.
  5. There are two ways to pause the recording:
    • Use the keyboard shortcut for pausing recordings.  By default, this key is F8.
    • The My Screen Recorder Pro icon is placed in the system tray by default.  Right-click the icon and select Pause Recording
  6. After pausing the recording, you can resume recording using:
    • The keyboard shortcut for resuming recordings.  By default, this key is F8.
    • The My Screen Recorder Pro icon is placed in the system tray by default.  Right-click it and select Record
  7. When you have completed your work, you can use these two methods to stop the recording:
    • Use the keyboard shortcut for stopping recordings.  By default, this key is F9.
    • The My Screen Recorder Pro icon is placed in the system tray by default.  Right-click it and select Stop Recording
  8. To cancel recording:
    • Use the keyboard shortcut for stopping recordings.  By default, this key is F10.
    • The My Screen Recorder Pro icon is visible in the system tray by default.  Right-click it and select Cancel Recording
  9. After the recording is complete (stopped), the video and audio are merged.  You are given the chance to name the recording file.  By default, it is saved in the current Folder Shortcut.  You can click the Browse button and save it to any folder.  If you save to a folder that is not a Shortcut, that folder will be added to the Recent Folder Shortcuts list at the left of the window. Use the built-in player to preview the recording
