My Screen Recorder Pro: Converting AVI Files

Converting AVI Files

WMV Conversion

My Screen Recorder Pro's Conversion Wizard allows you to convert your AVI screen recordings to WMV format for easy sharing. You can choose between two categories.

  1. Profiles for Desktop Viewing: My Screen Recorder Pro provides two profiles for Desktop Viewing.  The Screen and Voice (High Quality) profile gives the best output in terms of quality. You can also choose to save your recordings in the Screen and Voice (Standard Quality) profile that gives smaller recording size.
  2. Profiles for Streaming: If you want to share your recordings with a wide audience, you can distribute your recordings on your website by uploading them to your web server or a streaming server like Video Desk. You can choose from two profiles for streaming, depending upon the bandwidth available to your audience.
    1. Screen and Voice (100 kbps)
    2. Screen and Voice (200 kbps)

You need to find out the bandwidth available to the majority of your audience and then select one of the two profiles. The 100 kbps is the minimum speed required by your audience to view your presentation over the internet. It is recommended that you choose Screen and Voice (100 kbps) since it can be viewed by a larger audience.

The quality of videos saved in web streaming profiles is not as good as the ones saved in the profiles for desktop viewing. However, the size is small allowing them to be streamed from your web site easily.
