Video Edit Magic Express 4.11

Step I: Select Output File Parameters

The first step of the Make Movie wizard lets you select the output file and its parameters.  The other steps of the wizard vary depending on the output format you select in this step.

File Name

The output file name.  A default file name will be automatically filled in.  You may change the file name if you wish.

Path

The output file path.  The movie will be made in the folder selected here.  By default, the path to your My Documents folder will be filled in.  You can change the path by clicking Browse and then navigating for the new folder.  Click OK after you have selected the new folder.

Output Format

The output file format.  Select the format that's appropriate.  For editing, AVI is the best choice.  For making VCDs, choose MPEG.  If you will be exporting to a digital video (DV) camera, choose DV AVI.  In Step II of the Make Movie wizard you will choose the properties of the movie you are making.
