Auto Movie Creator 3.26

Volume Balance Control

The three components of sound (clip audio, music, and narration) can be blended using the Volume Balance Control.  Open it by using one of these three methods:

  • Opening the Tools menu and selecting Volume Balance Control
  • Clicking the Volume Balance Control button on the Music Options dialog
  • Clicking the icon on the toolbar

Each sound component is represented by vertical bar with a movable slider.  The slider can be moved up to increase volume and moved down to decrease it.  When you click on the speaker icon for any of the sound components, it changes to indicating that the volume of that sound component is turned off.  Click OK to apply the changes.  The Default button restores the three volumes level to Auto Movie Creator's default values.

The volume settings are for the entire Storyboard (you cannot change them for individual clips) and apply to the preview as well as the movie you make.  For instance, if you mute the music using this feature, it wont be heard in the preview or the movie you make.
