Team Task Manager 2.41

Role of the Administrator

The Admin is responsible for the maintenance of Team Task Manager.  The Admin is assigned all permissions to create, edit or delete users and projects.  The Admin can login to Team Task Manager using the Admin Account which is first created when the Full Installation is performed.

Since the Admin can not manage everything alone, he can create a Secondary Administrator account.  The Secondary Admin has the same permissions as an Admin, with the exception of deleting or modifying the Admin account.  Both the Admin and Secondary Administrator account can access the database backup and restore function.

An user is assigned a role in project such as Project Manager, Power Member, Normal Member or Reader.  By default, the Admin is given the Project Manager role for each project that is created unless a different user is assigned as the Project Manager.

Reset Admin Password

If the administrator forgets the password, we can reset the admin password from the Database Server PC.  On the Database Server PC, without login select Tools >> Reset Admin Password option.  Next time when the Admin tries to login, Create Admin Password dialog will be displayed.  Enter the new password and login to Team Task Manager.
