Step I: Select Output File Parameters

The first step of the Make Movie wizard lets you select the output file and its parameters.  The other steps of the wizard vary depending on the output file parameters you select in this step.

File Name

The output file name.  A default file name will be automatically filled in.  You may change the file name if you wish.

Path

The output file path.  The movie will be made in the folder selected here.  By default, the path to your My Documents folder will be filled in.  You can change the path by clicking Browse and then navigating for the new folder.  Click OK after you have selected the new folder.

Output Format

The output file format. Select either AVI, WMV/WMA, MPEG, DV AVI, MOV or WAV.  Depending on this selection, Step II of the Make Movie wizard will let you configure the properties for the selected format.
