Wave Effect

The Wave Effect gives a wavy appearance to the video in the timeline where the effect is applied.  The Wave Effect produces alternate dark and light shaded areas across the height of the video.  The Wave Effect supports three properties.

Frequency

Frequency is the number of waves to be displayed across the height of the video.  More the frequency,  smaller is the single wave.

Light Strength

Light Strength is the intensity of light falling on the video.  Waves become more distinct at higher intensities.  At higher values, the waves become so strong that they will appear to cut the video in strips.  At lower values, the waves may not show at all.  A value of 25 - 50 is ideal in most cases.

Phase

Phase defines the vertical direction of falling light.  Changing the phase will change the direction of falling light and thus change the vertical location of the waves.
