With the help of Security Monitor Pro, you can view and configure the camera properties. Camera properties vary depending on the type and manufacturer of the camera. However, the basic properties are the same for most cameras. If you feel that your camera settings are not optimized for the environment you are monitoring, you can experiment and see which settings provide the best results.

For example, if you are monitoring a poorly lit area, you can try increasing the brightness. On the other hand, if you are monitoring a bright area like the inside of your store, then you can try changing the backlight compensation.

To change the properties of a camera, you need to select it and click on Camera >> Camera Properties

The IP camera's settings web page will be displayed in your default web browser. You can simultaneously configure the settings for the rest of the cameras on different web pages. Camera properties are driver dependent. One or more properties may be different among cameras. The easy instructions on the web page will help you to change the settings for every camera.
