Getting the IP Address of Your Computer

You can check the private (internal) as well as public (external) IP address of your computer.  In case you have a private IP, you need to know the IP address to configure the proxy server.

To view the IP address of your computer, you need to follow the given steps:

  1. Go to Tools menu and click on Get Computer IP Address
  2. You can click on the link www.deskshare.com/mypcinfo.aspx to see your public IP address. 
  3. In case one or more private IP addresses are assigned to your PC, your private or internal IP address(s) are listed.  To see the public IP address of your computer, click on the link www.deskshare.com/mypcinfo.aspx
