Configuring Files for Streaming

  1. After adding files to the list, click the Tools menu and then Settings.
  2. Under General Settings, from the Convert To box, select WMV - For Windows Media Server (Streaming) for Video or WMA - For Windows Media Server (Streaming) for audio.
  3. Select the Properties tab or Properties button.
  4. From the Profiles box, select an appropriate profile.
  5. From the list of available Bit Rates, select the ones that you want to include in the conversion.  Read Selecting Bit Rates before selection.
  6. Click OK

Preserve ID3 Tags

By default, Digital Media Converter retains metadata from your source file.  To avoid this, uncheck the Preserve ID3 Tags [ file description details ] option.
